The Rouge Radio started as a branch off of The Rouge Magazine which was published in 2001. Jason Sperling believed it was time to provide a weekly radio broadcast of Canadian Football. The following individuals are volunteers that give their time and money for Canadian Football.

At 6'4" Jason is an intimidating figure on and off the football field. Jason started The Rouge magazine in 2000 and has been involved in football for more than a decade. His football career began in 1997 when he became the Media Relations for the Prairie Football Conference of the CJFL. He progressed quickly and became the Canadian Junior Football Leagues' Media Coordinator. A position that let him "really give back to minor football and showcase these amazing young athletes in our country." For the past 3 years he has been involved with Officiating minor football in the Edmonton Football Officials Association so knows how tough the refs have it! Jason is a season ticket holder of the Edmonton Eskimos, frequents many UofA Golden Bears, Huskies and Wildcats games throughout the too short football season. Jason also works full-time as a Drafter at a local utility company while doing RougeRadio.com.

IT'S OUR GAME, EH!

Jenn is an avid fan of the Argos in particular, the CFL in general, and has been for the past 30 years. Some say one of her first sentences was "are you blind" uttered in the direction of the refs. When she is not watching football, reading about football, tweeting about football, or discussing football in a fan forum, Jenn can be found in the halls of Wilfrid Laurier University where she is pursuing a Ph.D in Canadian Military History (WWI).
Jenn is a member of Argonotes - The Toronto Argonauts' Band, and has been for the past 12 years, combining her love of music and football (and getting in free to Argos games!). Jenn resides in Kitchener, Ontario and is very excited to be a co-host at Rouge Radio, even if the guys are a little misguided in their choices of teams to root for.
Reed Duthie is just at the beginning of his broadcast career and joined Rouge Radio looking for a new challenge and a way to break further into the football world. Reed works as a play-by-play announcer for Cogeco Cable 14 in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario and has been the voice for events such as Hamilton Bulldogs and Stoney Creek Warriors hockey, Hamilton Hurricanes football and Mohawk College basketball. In the future Reed hopes to head to TSN or one of the other large sports networks and make a career of play by play announcing. Proud to be a part of Rouge Radio, Reed wants to help the station grow from it's infancy into a media power in Canadian football coverage.

Tom joined Rouge Radio in the summer of 2010 and has kept tabs on the goings-on in the CJFL since then. Tom is the Media Coordinator for both the Prairie Football Conference as well as the Winnipeg Rifles.
Also, Tom has done public address announcing for the Rifles since the team's first game in 2002 in addition to being the public address voice of Manitoba Bisons Football for 20 seasons. He also serves as the press-box announcer at Winnipeg Blue Bomber home games and has had the honor of being stadium announcer for the 2003 CFL Western Semi-Final & a 2007 regular season contest.
